I happened to read an old post from 2006 about turtling with the following quote:
"By not allowing the penis to retract back inside the body, we are forcing it to heal in an elongated state. If we let the penis retract back into the body to heal, it will most likely heal quicker and more efficiently, but it will also heal short, strong and more resistant to PE. Also, by keeping the cells pulled apart (Extended) while they heal, this allows new cells to form and fill in the gap, thus creating more cells and thus more tissue resulting in a longer penis."

I typically pump or extend with a high tension in the evening, and I wonder if some method to prevent turtling while I sleep might improve results. I have seen silicone sleeves about 9 inches long that I imagine might prevent turtling. I also have an extender that I could potentially wear while sleeping at a very low tension.

On the other hand, I have read that nocturnal erections are important for penis health, and I wouldn’t want to inhibit that.

Thanks for any ideas.

That rareley happened to me even when I was younger. I’m late 50s now, so I don’t know how many years or decades it has been.

Night and morning wood are good indicators that your routine and penis is healthy. If you haven’t had them in years, it might be worthy goal to make them happen.

Hmmmm, o.k. I assumed that it was just normal for my age to not have those. I’ve probably always had lower than normal testosterone too. Hmmm.

I try and BTC stretch as much as possible while I sleep.

Can anybody clue me in on the meaning of "BTC"?

Between The Cheeks. When I go to bed, I stretch my penis and then tuck it BTC. It doesn’t stay all night. But, every time I’m conscious enough I readjust.

I would say not perfect, better than nothing.

I wouldn’t do any form of PE during sleep to be honest.

We have to let the body do it’s thing over night.

Extender: 1.1k hours (4/4/2024). Goal: 3k hours.

Got it. I was wildly guessing "beneath the covers" maybe, but I guessed wrong.

Search the forum for "fowfer" or "fowfers" which I think is the name given to this tuck concept. I had been doing it, and will again. It seems to work for me, perhaps anti turtle is one way to look at it, but I also found it plumps up nicely too. Yes, it untucks if you roll over and that’s fine, you can put it back.

Hi man!

me to avoid the tourtling effect I wear stealth type bands or sleeves for the toes all day and night and they work great. BTC exercises are also m ore suitable.
